What happens if both of your Fire King High Avatar Garunix was destroyed by a card effect. During the next standby phase would they kill each other.

Not really. You see, you can choose which to summon first. Then destroy it with the next garunix. This is called the GARUNIX LOOP. It heps you in terms of killing your opponent. And makes Fire Kings strong.

Well, according to the rulebook, the turn player has turn priority, so the first garunix to resolve is that of the turn player.
