The best card ever, prisma.

Post by eneskristo on Fri Sep 27, 2013 1:26 pm

Elemental hero plasma is a largely neglected card. But with Lavalval chain being as expensive as a facebook share, and foolish burial at 1, it's worth considering.

If you can read the text under prisma, it clearly states:

Once per turn: You can reveal 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, then send 1 of the Fusion Material Monsters listed on that card from your Main Deck to the Graveyard; this card's name becomes the sent monster's name until the End Phase.

So, ok. Now what are my possibilities.

If you lead a type based deck, things look good for you:

  • Five headed dragon for dragons.

  • The Gem-knights for Thunder, Pyro, Rock and Aqua.

  • Ultimate Axon Kicker for psychics.

  • Dragon knight drago-equiste for warriors.

  • Chimeratech for machines.

  • Evil Hero Malicious Fiend for some fiends.

  • Supreme arcanite magician for spellcasters.

What about the attribute based decks???

The six attribute based e heroes!!!!

And it's a solid attack body. And it can be of worth to main a copy or two of miracle fusion.

Prisma could be very good actually, but you need to mind that you'll use your Normal Summon, and Prisma with 1700 atk isn't the most powerful lvl 4- monster, so... it's like a multi burial if you keep it alive, thing that could be something hard, you must be worry about this cards:
-Bottomless.
-Compulsory.
-Book of moon.
-Solemn Warning.
-Torrential.
-Eff veiler.
-Skill Drain.

And in some decks:
-Light-Imprisoning.
-D.D. Crow.
-Macro.
-D. Fissure.

So yes, Prisma is a good card, but a Normal Summon could be a big risk against decks that most of times can OTK you, play Prisma wisely.

Also in the rulings:

Elemental Hero Prisma can only be used for Fusion Monsters that have at least 1 Fusion Material Monster that is specifically named, and can only be used to change its name to a specifically named Fusion Material Monster. You cannot reveal a monster like Five-Headed Dragon and send any Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.
